|In response to Re: Compact Toilet|
About the only way to get a bit more room is to use a round front bowl which is 2" shorter than an elongated one.
: I only have 18" from the front of my elongated toilet seat to my bathtub, and I have a 12 inch rough-in with about 29" from the wall behind to the front of the seat. I have an older Craftsman home and would like to find a toilet that fits the style of my house and performs well, but is not too deep. I saw the American Standard compact elongated, but it does not fit my style desires and I have no idea about the performance of that model. Any suggestions for an elongated or perhaps even a round bowl toilet that might fit my needs and knees?
