Some pop ups, Delta I think have a bit of a rubber gasket that can work pretty well on their pop ups. Many others, even ones with o rings just do not. Tons of frustrated end users and thank the stupid designers. : My wife keeps complaining that the water slowly drains out of the bathroom sinks. She wants to wash out some small clothes items, like stockings and a sweater, etc. : The pop-up plugs just do not seem to seal tight enough; the seal is basically a flimsy piece of plastic or rubber. I replaced one with a new one to see if it made a difference, but it also slowly leaked out. : Is there a secret to getting these plugs to seal tight so they don't leak ? : I told her to wash them out in a small plastic tub, but she wants to use the sink. : The only thing I can come up with is to get one of the old-fashioned rubber plugs (if I can find one to fit!) so she can use it in one of the sinks. : Any help appreciated. : Thanks !
