|In response to Re: Sanitary Tee installation|
: I have a new DWV for a vanity in a new bathroom. My vent line is already in (2") inside wall behind vanity. I have a two inch drain coming up through the floor under the vanity. My question is I want to install a 2 x 2 x 1 1/2 santee vertically on my drain, elbow over to pick up the 2" vent stack with the 1 1/2 inch going to my trap.
: Does this installation require a wye in lieu of a santee?
The 2" up (the vent) cannot offset horizontally until you are 6" above the flood rim livel of the lav. This installation requires a san tee, you cannot use a wye.
