25 year old water to air heat and AC system. 2 and 1/4" metal release pipe drips. So system looses pressure and re cycles more than it should. I have turned the valve to off pretty tightly but it still leeks. I'm afraid to turn it more (forve it) because it is so old and I fear it will snap of the turn valve. Should I worry or just try to close it tighter? Also is ther a wet/dry cement (like they use for PVC) for metal? Maybe I could use that and cap off the pipe where it leeks. |
