: I am adding two bathrooms to my existing home. I am converting to PEX tubing for the new baths. I currently am tieing it into the copper with plans to eventually replace all the copper with PEX. Any pointers, opinions, cautions, tips? Pex does not need to look like spaghetti. Make your runs straight and make nice sweeping turns. Secure Pex every 32" or as needed. Be aware that the ID of Pex is substantially smaller than copper of the same OD. I never run more than 2 fixtures on 1/2" Pex. I bring in a 1" main if the home has 1 or 2 baths.
