In response to Re: Lavatory drain clogged

: I had a lavatory backing up after about a quart of water ran in. Trap was clear. Tried using a flexible snake. Hit what I thought was the Tee and was far as I could go now it won't drain. What's the best way to c
: clear it now? Lead pipe goes through the wall so I'm afraid to be too rough with it. Thanks.

Glad you menthioned lead piping.

Many of my accounts are building built in 1922 and lead pipe is the noem for drainage.

The best thing to use is either a STRONG wet dry to suck the debris out like a Sear 5 or 6 HP Or a General RAM jet no more then 40 PSI.

either one you use is good BUT remember to hold a rag over the over flow and DO NOT EVER USE CHEMICALS
