the inlets for the water coming into the bowl could be clogged with mineral deposites from the water. clean them out with a piece of wire. drain/trap could also be clogged. I had a hairbrush stuck in the main stack about 5 feet below the toilet in the basement. the toilet only over-flowed if you flushed the toilet 3 times in a row. using a snake is easy. rent one and they will show you how to use it. |
