|In response to Re: Loosing ABS joints|
: Hi, I am going to do modifications to some drainage pipes, but don't have a lot of room to play with between fittings. I was hoping to get away with not replacing all of the current fittings, as they are in good shape. Is there any way to loosen the glue used on ABS joints, as opposed to having to cut the pipes?
The only time I do this is if I absolutely positively have to. It is tough to do and I never have much luck with the ram bits on ABS. It might be worth your time to have a plumber check out what you have and what you are trying to do.
