You have a damaged hose, bad door seal, leaky pump seal, etc. If this unit is several years old and was an "average" unit, feature-wise, when purchased, you should balance the cost of repair parts and labor with the fact that a new entry-level dishwasher can be had for $189; and a very good unit with improved wash features and silencing can be had in the $375 to $475 neighborhood.
