|In response to Re: Sanitary Tee vs. Vent Tee|
So the consensus seems to be that for UPC:
Vertical vent tied into the top of a horizontal drain: combo wye and 1/8 bend with arm pointing up.
Vertical dry vent tied into the bottom of a horizontal dry vent offset: vent tee OR sanitary tee on its front with arm pointing downward.
Horizontal dry vent offset tied into the side of a vertical dry vent: vent tee OR inverted sanitary tee with arm pointing sideways.
In all cases the sweep is in the direction of air/water flow from roof vent to building drain.
Have I got it right now? Thanks for all the input!
