|In response to Re: Installing 'new' old radiators & zoning|
Actually, the 3/4" would be the branch piping coming off the main piping; each radiator would be fed/returned by it's own pair of 3/4" lines.....is this not sufficient? Can you recommend any books or websites for details?
: If you are using "real" radiators, then you had better be thinking larger than 3/4" piping, and zoning will be the least of your problems if you do not install the piping properly.
: : I'm going to be installing cast iron radiators in an addition we're building. 5 rooms in all. Hot water heating, and I'd like to zone the new rooms and the rest of the existing house. How big should I drill holes to run the 3/4" copper tubing? Can anyone recommend a good book on the subject of zoning? Any other advice would be welcome as well, thank you!!
