Most areas require that the connection be made with a coupling that has a metal band around the outside. Mission couplings, and sometimes No-Hub couplings, are recommended. : Digging out slab for new bathroom renovation project...can I use a Fernco to couple the PVC to cast iron under slab? I tried to find some code refs on it and found nothing yet... : Thanks, Matt
