|In response to Re: Orangeburg pipe replacement|
: I live in AZ where the soil has a high alkilinity. I need to get my sewage pipes replaced since they are orangeburg. The plumber wants to dig up and wreck the entire yard. Would the trenchless technique work on such soil with high alkilinity?
Relining does work but depending on who is doing the application and what long term guarantee do they offer compared to total replacement.
A lot of factors are involved like how long do you plan on living there, what is the value of the home, your age etc.
In reality why would an 80 year old person worry if the piping is going to last 20 or 50 years?
