Hello All, I am doing a bathroom remodel and am currently working on rebuilding the shower. I have built the curb out of three stacked 2x4s and floated with mortar. I have floated the shower floor with a slope of 1/4" per ft. When all is said and done I have about 1 3/4" from the shower floor to the top of the curb. This seems a little low to me. I am using stone, so I don't have any requirements to get a 'full tile' look to the curb. 1) Is there a standard/minimum height that a curb should be on the inside? 2) If my curb is too low, can I add more mortar to the curb to build it up a little higher, or would there be stability issues with adding mortar on top of mortar that has already cured? Any advice much appreciated. Heather
