I'm not sure if you bought one yet but we installed a MAAX in our house last year and we also chose the backmaxx option. I'm not real impressed with the intensity of the backmaxx jets. I usually tell our customers that it's a nice option but I wouldn't exactly call it "theraputic"...at least in my experience with ours.
