: My son was given a fairly new dishwasher. We would like to convert it to a portable as the cabinet configeration in his kitchen does not allow for a built in. Any suggestions as to were to obtain a conversion kit would be most helpful. reply: It is not worth the trouble to convert in this direction. I have done a few conversions of portable units where customer purchased a factory conversion kit to fixed location.
