In response to Re: Wall Mount Toilet
: 28 years ago, a wall mounted toilet(outflow not going down through the floor) with the outflow going straight into the basement to the septic tank was installed in my home. The tank hoding water to fill the bowl once it was flushed, cracked.Replacement tank is not available per the "plumber" hired to install new hardware. To replace the whole thing would require ALOT of new plumbing! What is your recommendation?

Reply:
Locating a replacement toilet tank may be impossible.
The plumbing can remain untouched (if it's in good condition) if you install the exact same style toilet. Go to a local plumbing supply house and see what's available or go to Kohlers, American Standards, Toto's, etc. websites. They all have pictures and specs for plumbing fixtures.
Good Luck. e-plumber
