In response to Re: Leaking Ejector Pit
: I have an ejector pit that has ground water leaking into it. There is enough water to cause the pump to run about once every 15 minutes.

: Before attaching my basement drain lines (new laundry room and full bath )to this pit, I would like to seal the leak. Any comments or suggestions?

How is the water entering the sewer ejector tank? If it's damaged (cracked or split), you may need to replace the tank.
With that of ground water flow it may be imopossible to permanently seal the leak. Discharging ground water into the sanitary system is against code. You may need to hire a water proofing company to install a ground water removal system, if you do acually stop the leak into the tank, where will the ground water show up next?
Good Luck. e-plumber
