Good way to hide water shutoff and cleanout access?

I need to provide access to my main water supply shutoff and cleanouts in a finished room. I would prefer to have the access as least noticeable as possible. I've heard to place a cold-air return grille or vent grill so it's looks like part of the HVAC system. Or cover with a picture. Does anyone have any creative tips that you've seen in place out in the field?
