The contractor apparently measured for a santee, and then he put in a wye and a 45. I had to reach in and make a fairly not-square cut on the upstream pipe, so even if I butt them up there will still be about a 1/2" gap (on the bottom, of course). Given that, would it pay to chop out that nice glued coupling and add a downsteam Fernco? |
