The floor in the first floor bathroom of our 75 year old house slopes. I replaced the rotten floorboards under the toilet with new plywood, which helps some, but when I dry fit the toilet to the new flange, it is a full bubble off of level, side to side.
The toilet doesn't rock, as the floor is flat, it's just not level.
I'm thinking of shimming the toilet with those little plastic shims made for the purpose. Are these a more or less permanent fix, or will they degrade and need to be replaced? Does anyone have a solution they like better?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me in this matter.
