Main problem is there is no flux in the joint now. The solder is melting, but without flux it will not wick into the joint. Chances are you missed fluxing the joint enough the first time, at least that's been the cause of both leaks I've ever had. (That's bragging!)But it could be you moved the joint before it was set. So bottom line is you gotta cut the bad joint out and redo it. As mentioned earlier, using new fittings is lots easier than cleaning old ones.
