Well, you probably do not want a $300 tub, but the tub material, insulation on the exterior of the tub, capacity, motor and pump quality, number of jets, manufacturer's profit, etc., will usually all be better with the higher priced tubs. : Well, since we're on the topic of whirlpools- in scanning this site there's a lot of opinions out there- woudn't ask anyone to name a brand unless they want to, but i WILL ask: : 1) Tub finish- acrylic OK? : 2) Motor size- how many HP for what capacity tub? : What are some of the other key differences between a $300 tub and a $1300 tub? : Thanks again all!
