In response to Re: Well tank/no water...help!
: I have a Well X Trol well tank that is 7 years old. We were our of town for a few days, when we returned, we had no water. Although it has been -30, we don't appear to have frozen pipes. The gauge near the tank says it's maxed out at over 120 PSI. The tank appears to be empty. The pump will run, but it sounds like it's dry. There is a valve next to the guage. No water or air comes out when it's opened. Answer; It certainly seems like it is frozen. Probably from not being used for a few days. (running water never freezes) It will have to be thawed and then protected in a warm area to prevent this from happening again.
