Look in the Yellow Pages and contact several of the plumbing shops listed. Send each of them a request similar to your post. It would be helpful to know if this is a simple replacement of and existing gas heater or if it will require plumbing in a new gas line and water connections. They will not quote a price for installation that requires plumbing new lines without first hand inspection of the job, but they should give you a firm price on heaters that fit your specifications. Get several bids on the labor, especially if it entails the new plumbing. If it is a simple take the old on out, put the new one in, labor is minimal, but you will probably either have to pay them to dispose of the old heater or have someone else haul it away.
