: : : I am removing the old radiator valves and replacing them with TRVs, however I am unsure of how to balance the radiators on completion. Can you help?

: : Once the valves are installed and the system is up and running, you would need to find which areas of the home overheat and reduce the setting on thermostatic valves, it's very basic. Operating instructions are supplied with the valves.

Ah but, question: surely you have to balance all the rads with the TRVs set at say, half-way, then 'er-indoors can go round to her hearts content screwing and unscrewing them when she gets too hot or too cold in any one particular room?

Otherwise, what's the point of having TRVs? Granted you SHOULDN'T need to adjust them as e-plumber says - but you can bet your life somebody will play with them in the future.
