The bubble sound is a small amount of air that is get in through the drain valve, but it would take forever to get enough air to drain the tank at that rate. : reply: I just open my pressure release vavle when draining my tank. Yes, I did have a hot water faucet opened. Still, very little flow through the drain value...then every once in a while, I hear a bubble in the tank, indicating there is still water... but nothing draining out. There is a little sediment coming out, but nothing that would indicate a blockage. Any other ideas?
