What do you mean by nearly impossible? Is it on a slab? Is the plumbing mounted on an exterior wall? (Highly unlikely) Is it on an upper floor? How much space do you have to work with? It's really hard to say without describing your situation more in detail. Right now it would be like grasping at straws. Have you considered having your existing tub refinished (resurfaced) instead? : I want to replace my tub, but access underneath tub is nearly impossible. This is no problem in taking out the tub, but attaching the required drain, overflow, and p trap can be a problem once I install the new tub. Any suggestion. sd
