If your pressure were even close to 150 psi, you would be writing here about a multitude of problems, so yours is considerably less. In addition, until the filter gets completely plugged, the pressure on it will always be much less than the house pressure. You would not want to take a shower if the water was hitting you at 80 psi, for example.
: I am thinking about buying a water filter for my shower. The information about the filter says "suitable for homes with water pressure over 150 psi." How do I calculate my water psi to make sure the filter is appropriate for my shower?
