Most codes that allow wet-venting limit it to fixtures on the same floor. Code does not allow wet venting a fixture through a drain line originating on the floor above. The right way to do this is to run a vent line (2" or larger) up along the stack, tying in above the flood rim of the highest fixture on the floors above. Code does not allow wet venting through a soil stack.
