|In response to Re: cabin septic system|
A dry well used with a septic tank, (here we call them cesspools), has to be designed using the same engineering as a leach field would need. Ours are usually about 30-40 feet deep and 4' in diameter, which would be a bit daunting to dig by hand.
: I'm building a very small cabin that will be used only a few times per year. It will be used by only my wife and I. I looked at drywells and they looked relatively easy to install myself, but do I have to use them with a septic tank? If so, what size?
