However, in the real world... I own a home that was built in 1958. When I removed a shower to install a tub, I was surprised to find that the shower had 1-1/2" drainage lines. I too am surprised that an inspector would allow that.
However, in the real world...
I own a home that was built in 1958. When I removed a shower to install a tub, I was surprised to find that the shower had 1-1/2" drainage lines. I never had any trouble with the shower draining properly.
