The rubber washer is inside the faucet, but now you also have to replace the stem because you "broke" it. : The Delta faucet in the bathroom sink was leaking.When I took it apart I found ther was no rubber washer, only a flat piece of metal. I bent the metal piece just a bit with a screwdriver and put it back together and it does not leak, at least for now. Is this the proper way to repair this type of faucet?
