It is not the switch, it is the actuator that the stopper activates. It apparently has gotten a lot of debris around it. Sometimes spraying WD-40 or a silicone spray on it and then actuating it manually several times will free it up. : I have an insinkerator garbage disposal (the batch feed type) and when I remove the cover it fails to turn off. I believe that the little switch is getting stuck. Is it worth trying to fix this or do I need to replace the disposal? If it is something to be repaired, how do I fix it. : Rich Woolfson
