Lately the washing machine drain is backing up into the dishwasher when it empties. WE had our septic pumped this past summer. What do you think could cause this? Thank you, Shirley You have a clogged drainage line and the dishwasher drainage is not plumbed correctly. Have a plumber come in to auger the drainage line. Do not use any drain cleaners! You have a clogged drainage line and the dishwasher drainage is not plumbed correctly.
