Change the stop valve and then install a new stainless steel braided supply pipe. : I recently purchased an older house and had to replace the toilet. I installed the toilet with no problem and went to install the supply line. I have a 1/2" simple compression straight stop coming out of the wall below the toilet. The toilet fill is located under the tank. The rigid brass supply line 1/2" od appears unbendable and I would need to bend the line neary 90 degrees to attach. What are my options? The stainless braided flex lines I see at the supply store would not work with my compression stop - which only accepts 1/2" od piping.
