|In response to Re: whirlpool tub is leaking between tile and tub|
If you're certain that the water is leaking through your tile/tub intersection, you'll need to do some exploratory surgery. Many whirlpool tubs do not have tile flanges; if yours doesn't have one, it should. I'd make sure it's not your overflow or drain or other area that's not leaking though, before tearing out and retiling. I'd run just the tub, keeping water away from the area of your suspected leak to verifty this if you haven't already.
: Whirlpool tub installed on second floor of a house built in 1929 by previous owners. Tub is now leaking between the spot where the tub and tile come flush together (in the lower back left corner if you are facing the shower head). We have tried re-grouting/re-caulking to no avail. Water is coming thru light fixtures into my kitchen. Any advice?
