: I had an issue with the water flow decreasing in one of my faucets. When I took off the aerator there was a lot of white, chalky mineral type chunks. After I found this in one faucet I went to each of the other faucets and found the same issue. After rinsing the aerator and letting the water run for a while I re-installed the aerator and the water flow was back to normal. About a week later, it started to happen again and the mineral deposits were the cause again. Any idea what is causing this? I have replaced some copper pipe in one of my bathrooms, but I can't see how this would have anything to do with it. I drained my water heater and flushed all of the faucets/aerators, but the problem reappeared within a week or two. : ?? Reply: |
