Guessing is not enough. You have to catch the heater in the act of not working before you can decide on a repair or adjustment. Otherwise you will just waster money and still have the problem.
: My Richmond power vent water heater usually works fine. Recently however, the ignitor has failed to light the burner before the water has become luke warm. Yesterday morning, the shower was just luke warm. When I went to the basement to check on the heater, the fire was on and the water heated normally. This happened a couple of other times recently. I suspect the ignitor may be failing, but would appreciate advice and opinions.
