: How hard is this stuff to come off as I dont want to break the screw thread nut by using force to try and crack it?

Oh, this is bad stuff and should not be on the market at all. I have NEVER seen it work, but have cut out numerous fitting belonging to homeowners who thought it would. It is possible to chisel this stuff off, but it takes a huge amount of patience and time. I spent over 1-1/2 hrs one time chiseling the stuff off a 1/2" 90 to keep from having to cut the guys floor open to repair the leak.
Unfortunately, there are no magic solutions to plumbing leaks and any product applied externally that says it will seal plumbing leaks, won't. Period.
