recommendable "10 inch rough in" toilets

My old toilet is a "10 inch rough in" round front. I plan to replace with something as similar as possible. Almost no replacement toilets in my area are 10 inch. The only one I have found so far is a combination of American Standard "Compact" tank number 4010012.020 and "Cadet" bowl number 3453016.20 . The store selling this, ---- Depot, claims that this combination is "10 inch rough in". According to the manufacturer, "Cadet" bowl with "Cadet" tank is 12 inch. Will this Compact/Cadet combination flush well? What else might you suggest? Price is a concern. The lowest price locally for Toto is model 715 for $116 but it is 12 inch rough in.
