: When the manufacturer refers to "one use" or "two use", they are referring to the BTU rating of the burner, and how many gallons per minute of water can be heated. A 1-use unit usually is rated at 2.5 gallons per minute, and a 2-use unit at 5 gallons per minute. The stated GPM is usually specified at a 90 degree temp rise ( i.e. 50 degree wate in, 140 degree water out)
