loud bang in plumbing stack

My drain pipe under the basement floor has been replaced with 4" abs. So has the main stack (also 4" abs). They are off set from each other and are joined with a pair of 45 degree elbows seperated by 1 foot of pipe. When the 2nd story toilet flushes with solid waste in it, there is a loud bang. How can I stop this?
