|In response to Re: Wall-mount toilet for the home|
Changing from a floor mount to a wall mount is a sizable revision, and not for the typical DIY'er. There is a cast iron fitting in the wall to mount the toilet to and installing it can take a fair amount of experience to get it correct.
: My wife is interested to get a wall-mounted toilet so we can have a clear floor space underneath for cleaning the bathroom floor. I thought the wall-hung toilets are made only for commercial building applications. Are there models out there for home bathrooms? Any models in particular that have worked well? Are there any models that are DIY installations or do they require a plumbing contractor without doubt? Thanks for any input you can provide. Mike
