I have a whirlpool water heater and I was wondering what kin of anode rod comes in a new water heater. Is it alimin or what is it made of. I have a rotten egg smell in it and was wondering what type of anode rod would stop the smell. I took the rod out and the smell went away. I would like to replace it with another material. Thanks |
