: I recently installed a new cast iron porcelain deep double sink in my kitchen. It was cast with 4 holes, but, because of the dishwasher vent, I had to eliminate using the pump soap dispenser and connect the vent instead. Can I connect the dishwasher drain directly to the disposal unit, as long as I loop the hose well above the level of the point where it connects to the disposel unit?
