|In response to Re: No Water from Delta Scald Guard Faucet|
Remove the round trim plate. Your valve may have a large "plug" with a screwdriver slot in it. That would be the balancing spool. Take it out and tap it on the floor a couple of times until you feel the internal spool moving back and forth when you shake it.
: I have a 10 year old Delta Scald Guard shower faucet that has worked well in past; however, we don't use the bathroom much. Some times when you move the lever CCW from 'off' no water comes out, and sometimes a trickle comes out. When flow is coming, the closer you move the lever to the Hot side the slower the flow of water becomes.
: I took the 'cartridge' out, and I can get high flow from the cold port if I block the hot, but no flow from the hot port if I block the cold port.
: Any suggestions?
