Pressure tanks

In response to Pressure tanks
If you have a bladderless tank, you turn the well pump off, do a load of laundry (to drain the tank or just drain it into the sump), shut off the inlet to the rest of the house, put an air compressor on the bleeder (assume you have a 40/60 system , ie 40 on 60 off in psi).
Fill the tank with air until the guage reads about 39 psi.

turn the pump back on and let it fill the rest until you hit 60 and it turns off. slowly open the inlet valve to the rest of the house -- viola, you're done.

Same thing with a bladder tank.
