|In response to Re: Pond Pumps|
A submersible sump pump would work, but your limiting factor will be the 200' of garden hose. No matter how much capacity the pump has, that much hose will only be able to deliver a certain amount of water, and it may not be enough for 2 or 3 heads.
: I have a pond behind my house. The pond is about 2-ac or so. I would like to hook up a pump to my dock ( for watering the lawn ect..) but have no idea what type to buy. The pump would need to be able to hook up to a regular garden hose and have the capability to pump water several hundred feet and be able to run 2 or 3 sprinkler heads at once, I would like to have it run on 110v and try not to exceed $200.00. There seems to be a lot of pumps in the market place, which would be best to handle pond water? does anyone have one in use? - Thanks
