In response to Re: Toilet shut off valve
: I need some help. I turned off the water valve ny the toilet and noticed that water was dripping right where the shut off knob turns. Do I need to replace the valve or is there something I can tighten.

If it is an older valve, there should be a valve stem packing nut that you can tighten to stop the leak. Hold back on the valve itself while tightening the nut. Usually the leak will stop if the valve is fully opened or fully closed.
Good Luck. e-plumber
